Students can enroll in SAFe® Scrum Master (SSM), SAFe® Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM), or both. Each track includes training, the PIVOTˣ practicum, and the official SAFe® certification exam.

Every track follows the same sequence:

PIVOTx Practicum (applied work) → Hands-on application with guided projects and role rotations.

Certification Exam → Students sit for the SAFe® exam only after completing both training and practicum.

Documented Experience → Students earn applied hours they can list on résumés and college applications.

It’s the activation step after training. Students practice skills on guided work, rotate roles, and produce tangible artifacts (e.g., boards, backlogs, demos). This is where experience hours are earned and documented.

After they complete both the training and the PIVOTx Practicum, so they test with applied experience—not just memorization. Agile is a practitioner's model; their success beyond the classroom and beyond testing is dependent upon their ability to apply what they learn. The certification alone is not enough.

No. This is Independent Enrollment — parents or guardians register students directly. While we are hopeful that schools will add this programming in the future, your student’s participation is not contingent on school sponsorship.
